Hey all, I've heard back form Ella, who has also joined this network. She has sent me the framework (which I can't post!!) and says that she is interested in our work for her project, not just the workshop. I'm going to invite her to this group where she can hopefully tell us more about her project and what it involves etc.

BTW took me 7 hours to get home on Friday eve!! 7 HOURS!! Needless to say my decision to leave early was pointless!

That's really interesting. I'm on holiday next week, but the next week I'll have some time to do some paper prototyping work. If Tom has some time to run over it, we could video that work and use that as a tool to get some buyin.

How does that sound?

Hello all,

Tim has posted something really interesting on the main page about eParticipation workshop and I think it fits our App perfectly! I've downloaded the bits and contacted Ella to see if she'll send me the framework so I can bring it tomorrow for us to fill in. Fingers crossed.

Anyways looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

Hey Tom, just a really great meeting with our Countywide diversity network. I briefly chatted to them about SNS, they dont seem to be doing anything but are interested more generally. The Officer from the PCT was very keen, they are starting to do some stuff already. So would you be able to let me know how the agony aunt works and your progress with your local PCT - might be something we can deliver here.

Will be useful to talk to the developers and get some work started. We have some work experience students coming in next week and one of their tasks will be focused on SNS (Any thoughts about this would be welcomed).

Anyway everything else is good, just loads going on. Looking forward to May when things will calm down a bit at work. How are things with you?

Hi Jess, yes I agree we need something visual and tangible. I am hoping to meet with Harry, one of the developers, on Friday to discuss the potential of this. He will be attending the next action learning set day to support and advise. Unfortunately I am unable to make the next date. However I will put together an update and circulate. Hope you are ok? :)

Great, thanks Tom - just a bit frustrating at present, I think they really need something visual and tangible. The other thing is, have any other applications been discussed/ developed to give us a range of options?

I have temporarily mislaid the action plan… I will find it! I am pushing it in Norfolk, lots of people are struggling to understand it… it will help when we have a paper prototype! I am negotiating this with the developers…

Well done laura, sounds like you have been really busy. I am struggling abit here, I think we are slightly wedded to the more traditional methods of consultation and participation. Am going to talk to our youth council next week to get their views and hopefully that might support the cause.

Also I was wondering if anyone had the action plan we made at the residential? Cant quite remember everything I was supposed to do.

P.S. love the picture!
